Sunrise

The first movement of Sonatina Oriental, a three-movement suite (Sunrise, Desert, Oasis) exploring the Middle Eastern colours of DAGDAD tuning. Sunrise is the moment of dawn, when light breaks the dark and everything comes to life.

The tuning is known as DADGAD; I call it DAGDAD because I read it from the first string.
