The bass clef in my logo
A logo is a graphic picture of what the person behind it stands for.
Why did I choose the F clef, also called the bass clef?
In polyphony the bass line decides the harmony of a composition: the architecture of the piece is built on its notes. To use a comparison, it is like the foundations of a building, which have an important, fundamental job: holding it up.
I am a guitarist, but I use the instrument not only to play the guitar repertoire, but to make music.
I understood the importance of the bass clef by studying harmony and counterpoint, and above all by analysing J. S. Bach's chorales, where this practice is taken to its highest level… I would say to perfection.
In my life as a musician the financial return, though necessary to live, has never come first; what mattered was the good music could do for my soul.
